Following a pick up from your hotel, head to Banyumala twin waterfall, watching two epic waterfalls separated only by the rocks holding them together, and a huge swimming hole at the bottom. There’s plenty of space for all visitors to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters, and it’s ideal for jumping in and freshening off after the trek down.
From Banyumala waterfall, your English speaking guide will take you to Ulundanu Bratan Temple, amazing Balinese temple located about 1200 metres above sea level in Lake Beratan. This entire area is full of natural beauty. This iconic temple appears to be floating on the western shore of Lake Bratan, ringed by a mountain backdrop and surrounded by clear reflective waters, this is one of the most picturesque locations in central Bali. Once you are inside the temple’s grounds, take your time, walk around and take in the beauty. The main things to do at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple are exploring by foot.
After lunch at the local restaurant, the tour continues to Jatiluwih, a rice terrace with dramatic and exotic landscapes around. These magnificent terraces cover over 600 hectares of incredibly well-maintained rice paddies that date back as early as the 9th century. Experience the local farmers at work in the rice fields and they also make for great photo opportunities when wandering around the Jatiluwih UNESCO Site.
