Try your bargaining and negotiation skill at a traditional market in Bali. Bali traditional market is not just a regular market. It is a social place, not only interaction between seller and buyer. Meet and greet local people at a traditional Balinese market, taste the local food or test your bargain and negotiation skill. Visiting a local market is a way to experience the way of life for most Balinese people.
After pick up at your hotel, your driver/guide will drive you to Badung & Kumbasari Market. It is the biggest and busiest traditional market in Bali. Badung & Kumbasari market is a one stop place for almost anything Balinese people need. The Badung & Kumbasari market is separated by a big river. The east building is place for daily grocery, fabric and textile. The west building is place for souvenir and gift soft, a good place to buy and bargain your souvenir.
At the end of this visit at Badung Market, your guide will take you to taste the most popular Bali Coffee at Kopi Bali House, just across the road from the market.
Trip continued to Sukawati Market, the most popular souvenir market in the island. It is common to ask for discount when you buy souvenirs from the local traditional market. They have no fixed price on each items they sell.
In the evening, you will be driven to Gianyar night market to taste some Balinese food. Various Balinese food can be found here for example: babi guling, ayam betutu, any kinds of Balinese cake, fruits and some kind of juice. You will have dinner at Gianyar Night Market. Don’t forget to ask “not spicy food” if you don’t like it. They will serve you less chilli food if you asked.
